The parable describes a guy who waits for his love to come to him, only to find his obsession with buying footware for his future love and himself distracts him from ever finding this love. baobao warns that laziness may be disguised as patience, that focusing on the little things might distract you from the bigger things.
baobao lists the shoe-related keywords in a redundant and stacked order; the progression of time is visual. What starts as a list of desired shoe models degenerates into finance-related keywords—“Paypal Credit card Accept,” “nike free shoes”—suggesting a shift in the guy’s focus.
